This journal used to be explicitly for the posting of theological or political thoughts. Because these could be controversial, I have decided to have a separate journal for their posting and sharing. However, I've moved all my journaling over here, so there will be personal stuff mixed in. Regardless, I'm not hiding any longer.
I am a "liberal" and a "feminist." Those are in quotations because they are loaded terms that differ from person to person among those who wear them. With postings, you'll come to see how I fit into those categories. Don't like it? That's fine. No one said you had to.
I'm proud of who I am. I'm proud of what I believe. No one is going to change that. Don't try.
I'm pro-Pelagius. He should have won not Augustine. I believe the world would be a much better place if he did.
My core belief is that all human beings are created in the imagio dei. For me that is the measure by which all other beliefs are judged.
I'm not a feminazi. I'm married. I love my husband. I have male friends. I do not hate anyone, but I will admit that I have very little use for misogynists. If you believe women are inferior to men, don't bother talking to me.
You're welcome to read, comment, etc. I do ask that posts remain respectful. I also ask that you do not curse. Chances are good that a comment with cursing in it will be removed. I welcome respectful debate. Disrespectful debate, on the other hand, is not acceptable. Disagree with me? Fine. Be respectful about it.
